Asheville is a cosmopolitan small city in the western North Carolina mountains, but mostly it's a state of mind. "Keep Asheville Weird" bumper stickers are popular, but keeping Asheville fun and beautiful is also a high priority.

Wabi Sabi with Haiku
Wabi sabi, called "the Zen of things," evokes the beauty in impermanence, fleeting moments, natural cycles and seasons, things easily overlooked, etc. The juxtaposition of poetry and imagery is called "haiga."

The Holga Toy Camera allows no adjustments and is often full of light leaks that duct tape won't fix. Images might be blurry and distorted. Or not - you never know what you'll get. That's the fun part.
